Board Approved March 27, 2008
Utility Day - day off for students and school based staff unless it is needed to make-up for inclement weather.
Protected Teacher Workdays - There must be five workdays designated by the Board as "protected" for classroom use. One of these must be before school opens and one must be placed at the end of each academic quarter. These days may not be used for inclement weather makeup days. Teachers cannot be required to attend staff development or school meetings on these days.
