Philosophy
Students treated for chronic health conditions often experience prolonged absences from school. Academic support during hospitalization and outpatient treatment is important in preparing for the eventual transition back to a traditional school setting.
Hospital School teachers support school eligible students in their effort to maintain or regain academic progress and skill development during hospitalization and treatment.
