Philosophy
The Easley staff, faculty, administration, and parents believe that all children can learn, and that children learn best through active participation in a stimulating environment that builds upon diversity and the success of each student. Students are encouraged to learn and to become effective citizens in a democracy. Being a year-round school allows us to provide continuous instruction for students throughout the year.
Teaching
Special Services
The students experience resource services, literacy classes, tutoring, curriculum enhancement, and AIG classes. Teachers at Easley are committed to providing high-quality, differentiated instruction to assist students performing below grade level.
Academically/Intellectually Gifted Services
Students at Easley Elementary are served through pullout or cluster models at grades four and five. Enrichment for all students grades first through third is provided on a weekly basis through our Curriculum Enhancement program.

Academically/Intellectually Gifted Services students at Easley Elementary are served with a pullout program for grades four and five. An enrichment program for grades Kindergarten through third is provided in our Exploration classes.

Directions
From I-40:
Coming into Durham on I-40, take the Durham Expressway (Hwy. 147). Stay on the expressway until you come to the Hillandale Road exit. Turn right on Hillandale Road and proceed to Horton Road. Turn right onto Horton Road. Turn left onto Guess Road. Turn right onto Lebanon Circle. Easley will be on the right.
From I-85:
Proceed North on Guess Road. You will go about 5 miles. After you cross the Eno River the first road to the right is Lebanon Circle. Go around the circle. Easley will be on the right.
