Learner's permit
Now you are Ready to Start Driving
Going to the DMV to get your learner’s permit:
You must take the following to the DMV:
- the driver education certificate
- the driver eligibility certificate (valid for 30 days)
- a certified copy of birth certificate
- social security card
- proof of residence
- $15.00
- Parent or guardian
Once at the DMV
- You will take a written test – 25 questions
- You will get your eyes checked-also take an oral test on 12 road signs
- You will get your picture taken for your learner’s permit
- You will fall under the graduated licensing law
