Student Organizations

Many students who are enrolled in Career-Technical Education courses get involved in Career Technical Student Organizations, which are co-curricular clubs for the different industries. The eight CTSOs – one for each discipline-are more than after-school organizations; they are an integral part of classroom instruction. CTSO members can enter competitive events at the state and national levels, gaining confidence and competence. They also plan and participate in service projects for the community. Serving as officers within their local, state, and even national organizations helps students learn teamwork and leadership skills first-hand.
