Academics
Middle School Extracurricular Activities
Academic excellence is the priority, but there are also many opportunities for students to succeed outside of the classroom. All of our middle schools offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including the following:
Clubs and Activities
MSEN, French and Spanish clubs, Math Counts, Environmental Club, Jr. Honor Society, STEP team, Chess Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Government, Arts Clubs, Scrips Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, and more.
Sports
The following sport opportunities are available at most middle schools: soccer, football, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, cross country, track, and cheerleading.
Encore! Middle Grades After-School Program
Encore! Programs offer students the opportunity to take part in enrichment activities, including arts and crafts, clubs, intramural sports and computer instruction in small class settings. For a small fee, middle school students can participate in two hours of after-school activities four days a week.
