Technology Showcase Coming Up

Technology Showcase Coming Up
The 2010-2011 DPS Technology Showcase, presented by Durham Public Schools and Duke University Libraries' Pepsico K-12 Technology Mentor Program, will take place on Monday, March 21 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the DPS Staff Development Center. The Showcase is held in an open house/fair format and exhibits the outstanding work being done in DPS classrooms with technology. All DPS teachers and students are eligible to present and attend. Topics include: classroom collaboration using Google Apps, iPads in the classroom, Google Earth, interactive whiteboards, stop motion animation, blogging, podcasting, wikis, music technology, e-books, game development and education, student engineering, Alice programming, and much more! Presenters and attendees are eligible to win a variety of prizes including a document camera and a Smart Board courtesy of Cam Cor.
