Teachers Are Urged to Complete Survey
A whopping 95 percent of DPS teachers completed the 2008 NC Teacher Working Conditions Survey, and the 2010 survey is under way now. Governor Perdue said that the survey is used to “shape education policy that improves conditions for teaching and learning” at the school, district and state levels.
The NC Business Committee for Education donated money for prizes that will benefit schools achieving 100 percent response rates.
The survey is available online through April 16 at www.ncteachingconditions.org.
