Reminder to Complete Online Safety Training

Just a reminder that DPS staff members need to complete online safety training.  This online training is K-12 school specific and provides standardized safety training requirements for DPS staff.  All employees are assigned three safety courses that can be completed within one hour or less.  Employees received email notification with detailed assignment information directing them to the SafeSchools training Website at http://dpsnc.nc.safeschools.com/.  

This online safety training is required for all DPS staff members who were notified and should be completed by March 5, 2010.  Risk Management Services will contact Principals/Department Heads/Supervisors after the due date expires in order to communicate safety compliance requirements of their staff members who have not completed all assigned courses.  For additional information, there is a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document located on the login page.
