DPS Principals and Assistant Principals Form Association
NC Principals and Assistant Principals Association (PAPA) Executive Director Dr. Shirley Prince was in Durham Monday night, June 14, for the first meeting of the new DPS PAPA organization. Andrea Carroll, Oak Grove Principal, was named president. Dr. Julie Spencer, Carrington Principal, and Dr. Billy Mims, Jordan AP, were named Vice-Presidents. Benjamin Robinson, Lowe’s Grove AP, is secretary and Barbara Parker, R.N. Harris Principal, is the Treasurer. The group honored Interim Supt. Hank Hurd and incoming Superintendent Dr. Eric Becoats.
