Thank a Teacher!
In Durham Public Schools, we would like to make every week Teacher Appreciation Week, but we know that there is never enough we could do to let them know just how much they mean to us.
There is, however, a thoughtful and simple way that DPS is providing for our parents, students and community partners to do just that!
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3-9, and during that week and the preceding week (starting April 27), parents and community supporters will have the opportunity to send an email to the special teacher or teachers they wish to thank for the hard work and dedication they put into the classroom.
Within seconds, you will have had the opportunity to make a teacher's day!
Teachers truly are the heart of the success of Durham Public Schools!
