Steps to School: Attention Entering Kindergarten Families
Durham Public Schools and Durham’s Partnership for Children are sponsoring “Steps to School,” an evening program to help your child with the transition to kindergarten. The event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 6:00 until 7:45 pm at the DPS Staff Development Center, 2107 Hillandale Road. There will be free readiness tools and childcare provided. Topics include Reading With Your Child, Developing Social Skills, Math is Everywhere and Navigating the School Community. Call 560-9403 to reserve your seat.
