Community Gets a Look at New Middle School "B"
Durham Public Schools hosted a Community Information Meeting on Tuesday, October 13th to provide an overview of the design progress for New Middle School B. The meeting highlighted the 2007 Bond project for construction of a new middle school on a donated site in northern Durham County. The Project Team presented information about the school site and adjacent City parks, road and traffic design, the building design and its capacity, and provided a general review of the design and construction schedule. Approximately 100 interested citizens attended this meeting and 29 provided comments and questions as part of the town hall format following the presentation. The Project Team responses to the issues presented during the meeting are forthcoming.
