Durham County Library Holds "Invest 4 College" Workshops
Durham County Library is hosting its second set of workshops on investing as part of a two-year long investor education program created to help parents prepare for their children’s college expenses. “Invest 4 College: An Essential Toolkit for Planning” includes workshops, online resources and an expanded collection of printed investment materials. Each workshop in the spring 2010 series will be offered at two locations. The first is Planning to Make Money: Investment Fundamentals, Monday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at Stanford L. Warren Library, 1201 Fayetteville St. and Tuesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at North Regional Library, 221 Milton Rd. Additional workshops are March 15 at the North Regional; March 16 at North Regional, March 22 at Stanford Warren, March 23 at North Regional, March 29 at Stanford Warren and March 30 at North Regional.
