Superintendent’s Media Briefing – Wednesday, October 19

Durham, NC – Superintendent Eric J. Becoats will conduct his monthly media briefing on Wednesday, October 19 at 10 a.m. The briefing will be held at Riverside High – 3218 Rose of Sharon Road; Durham, NC 27712.
Topics of discussion will include the school district’s plan for funds derived from the Quarter Cent Sales Tax Referendum, our partnership with Durham CAN (Congregations, Associations, Neighborhoods), Principal for a Day, and an update on the progress of “One Vision. One Durham” – the district’s strategic plan.
Upon conclusion of the briefing, members of the media will have an opportunity to tour the Riverside Pirate weight room, which recently underwent a $75,000 renovation courtesy of the Carolina Panthers.
