Come experience our exciting DPS middle school band program! As part of our All-County Band event, everyone is invited to attend the culminating All-County Band Concert on Saturday, November 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Brogden Middle School. All-County Band will showcase a middle school band composed of the top band students from the participating schools across the district.
The concert is free and open to the public! We especially encourage upper elementary students and their parents to attend as this is an excellent opportunity to find out about middle school band. Because band is taught sequentially, if students want to play in their middle and high school bands, it is highly recommended that they sign up for band in the sixth grade.
We are excited this year to have as our clinician: Mr. Bobby Hinson from Salem Middle School in Apex. The students will rehearse on Friday, November 4, and Saturday, November 5, at Brogden Middle School with Mr. Hinson.
