Durham Public Schools Holds Public Hearing For 2011-2012 Budget

Durham, NC – School districts across North Carolina and the nation are currently navigating a very difficult budget season. Durham Public Schools is asking its community to participate in the process by attending a public hearing scheduled for Monday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Fuller Building, located at 511 Cleveland Street. Following the public hearing will be a Board work session. The public is welcome to attend.
Additionally, Durham Public Schools has implemented a Budget Website for the purpose of distributing and gathering information throughout the budget preparation season. For more information, visit the Durham Public Schools Budget Website at http://www.dpsnc.net/about-dps/budget/.
