DPS holds annual Magnet Fair Saturday, Nov. 13
DURHAM, NC, November 8, 2010 – Durham Public Schools will hold its annual Magnet Fair on Saturday, November 13 at Hillside High. The elementary fair will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The middle and high school fair will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Magnet Fair is an excellent one-stop shop for students and parents to gather information about a variety of schools to which they may choose to apply during the magnet application period. Students can apply to year-round schools or magnet schools with inspiring themes such as technology, science and art. High school students may also choose to apply to small high school options. The applications will be received online beginning January 3 until January 31, 2011.
