Yet the results for elementary and middle schools are based on new ABCs growth formulas, which raise standards for meeting academic growth targets and lowered results for most schools across the state.
- Pearsontown leader named Durham Public Schools Principal of the Year
- Dr. Eric C. Bracy, Principal of Pearsontown Elementary School, is the 2007 Principal of the Year for Durham Public Schools. Bracy has been principal of Pearsontown since 2003. He will represent Durham in the regional competition in the awards program sponsored by Wachovia Bank and the state Department of Public Instruction.
