Transition to Middle School
Sixth graders at Rogers-Herr (pictured here) and Chewning year-round middle schools are settling in to the middle school experience, and sixth graders at traditional schools will join them in a few weeks. The middle school transition is an important one for students and their parents. DPS is proud of our middle schools, including the three middle schools that have earned top national honors known as Schools to Watch. Carrington, Shepard and Rogers-Herr all have attained this high honor.
