Summer Scholars Camp

The Summer Scholars Camp will prepare you for the challenges of your Advanced Placement college level courses. An Advanced Placement course may be unlike any other you’ve taken because of the depth of material you will cover. Join us while we develop those skills that apply to all Advanced Placement courses, and have some fun while we’re learning.

GOALS:

  1. To help students overcome “AP anxiety” and prepare for academic excellence in their 2012-2013 AP course(s).
  2. To teach students how to manage a demanding course load by providing organizational and study skills.
  3. To give students a “taste” of several different AP courses including English, Calculus, Statistics, U.S. History, Biology, Environmental Science and Psychology so that they may consider these courses for the future.
  4. To give students a jump start on their AP summer assignments.
