Important Transportation Information for the 2012/2013 school year
Bus stop safety is always top priority
Due to significant budget reductions over the past few years, we are streamlining operations within our Transportation Department. Beginning next year, many bus stops will be consolidated into community stop locations which may require your student to walk a little further to the bus stop. Our staff is busy planning for safe and accessible bus stops for all students. Official bus stop locations will be available at your school’s open house or on the DPS website approximately 1 week prior to school start up.
Thank you in advance for working with us to ensure your student’s safe transportation to and from school. Your support in this transition is greatly appreciated. And remember, the safest bus stops are those with parental supervision.
