Two DPS elementary students were selected for the 2011 Duke Children’s Card Program!
DPS wants to congratulate Ariel B. Quick at Oak Grove Elementary and Marcus Colby Hill at Holt Elementary for being selected for the 2011 Duke Children’s Card Program! These students were chosen from hundreds of designs that we submitted this year. The student’s artwork was made into holiday cards and all-occasion cards that are now on sale. All proceeds benefit Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, a nationally-ranked pediatric academic medical center.
Coach Mike Krzyzewski, chairman of the Duke Children’s Card Program and head coach of Duke University’s men’s basketball team was on hand at a special ceremony on November 3 to present the students with their framed artwork and cards.
