Parent/Student Handbook
The DPS Parent/Student Handbook offers day-to-day school information that students and parents need. New this year is the calendar segment. We know that parents will find this especially useful, as it allows you space to jot down your own information about particular school happenings. Also included is information regarding promotion standards, testing and behavior standards.
In addition, you will find summaries of some of our board policies. You can read all of our policies in their entirety on our Web site or at your school’s media center.
Please note that this handbook is provided for your use in tandem with guidelines you will receive from your school.
Copies of the Handbook, in English and Spanish, are available in all schools or by calling the DPS Office of Public Affairs at 560-3652.
