DPS Students Achieve More Than $11.5 Million in Scholarships

Students in the Class of 2008 have racked up more than $11.5 million in academic scholarships for the fall. They include full rides to Harvard, Duke and the U.S. Naval Academy. A few more notable awards are: Full scholarship to Harvard, University Notre Dame University Scholar, Full scholarship to Stanford University, Tulane University Presidential Scholarship, United States Naval Academy, Buckeye Scholar at Ohio State University, Carolina Scholars and Morehead-Cain Scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill, A.B. Duke (University) Scholar.

DPS Students: Prepared for the World

Durham Public Schools students in the Class of 2008 are going to be “all over the map” this fall. They have been accepted to over 160 colleges and universities in 32 states, as well as Mexico and Canada.
