Teacher of the Year Awards
Jason Jowers, a history teacher at Southern School of Engineering, was named DPS’ 2011 Teacher of the Year.
Jowers received the honor this evening at a banquet recognizing Teachers of the Year from all 54 schools in Durham Public Schools. He was selected by a committee consisting of former Teachers of the Year.
