<p>Durham Public Schools’ university and business partners are helping students to discover the world of science and to gain interest in science as a career. The Scientifica program is for students who already have demonstrated interest and achievement in science.</p>
<p>Scientifica offers opportunities for deeper involvement and understanding of scientific research. Students receive guidance from local university students and professors. Professional scientists from Durham and Research Triangle Park businesses get in on the act, too.</p>
