Panthers Donate Weight Room Equipment to Riverside

Congratulations to Riverside high school who received a $75,000 “High School Weight Room Makeover” grant from the Carolina Panthers! The donation is part of $250,000 in weight training equipment which the team is donating to high schools in the Carolinas through a special grant program. Equipment for the grant program is comprised of the actual weight training equipment that was previously used by the Carolina Panthers for the team’s strength and conditioning program. Approximately 70 schools applied for the grant program. The selection process was based on a variety of factors including current state of the school’s football program, community involvement, funding sources, demonstrated equipment need and other criteria.
