<p>Great instructional programs, a wide variety of electives and many sports and other extra-curricular opportunities are among the many reasons parents have chosen Durham Public Schools for their children.</p>
<p>Now is the time for you to discover Durham Public Schools for yourself. Our annual Showcase of Schools is running through December 15. This is the time for parents and community members to come and see for themselves the great things going on in our schools.</p>
<p>Please check the open house and school tour schedule HERE, and remember that applications for magnet schools, year-schools and small high schools for the 2010-11 school year will be available online Monday, January 4, and the deadline for applying is Friday, January 29, 5 pm.</p>
