<p>The stereotype of Marian the Librarian is an antiquated one. These days “media coordinators” utilize a great deal of new technology and instructional practices to support the work of the classroom teacher.</p>
<p>Media coordinators work with various types of media, including online resources and digital technology. Yet you will discover many of our media coordinators who still find the time to sit down and read to students, an activity that remains a cornerstone of education. </p>
