Textbooks to Next-Books
Durham Public Schools continues its commitment to using the very latest technology in our classrooms to build students’ skills and more deeply engage them in what they are learning. The Renzulli Next-Book system gives teachers the ability to personalize each and every lesson for their students.
“Differentiated learning” is Renzulli’s calling card. Different activities can be designed on the same topic for different students based on their learning styles, reading levels and interests.
In addition to building students’ Internet research skills, the Renzulli system provides parents the ability to track their child’s activities and progress, gives them online access to teachers and offers articles and ideas for activities to reinforce what their children are learning in school. Parents may access this system by either going in through their child’s login, or contacting their child’s teacher to establish their own.
