Following is general information about the number of students who have participated in SES and Choice opportunities in the past.

There are Schools offering Choice Option in the 2011-2012 School Year:

Bethesda, Club, Creekside, Eastway, Eno Valley, Forest View, Glenn, Hillandale, Holt, Hope Valley, Merrick-Moore, Oak Grove, Parkwood, WG Pearson, EK Powe, YE Smith, Southwest, CC Spaulding, George Watts

Students from the schools listed above may transfer to Fayetteville St. or Lakewood.  The enrollment period for the 2011-2012 Choice transfer was August 1, 2011 to August 15, 2011.

If you are interested in SES tutoring for your child** and you attend one of the schools listed above, please attend one of our two Provider Fairs for more information.

Hillside High School, September 14 from 6-8pm.

Brodgen Middle School, Septemeber 21 from 6-8pm.

Applications are available at your child's school.  The first enrollment period for SES ends on October 14, 2011.

**Only students who receive free or reduced price lunch are eligible for free SES tutoring.

SES Providers Approve by the State:

Locations of SES services vary based on the school and provider. Please contact your school or Marcelle Thomas at 560-2628 for more information. Please note that not all SES vendors who are approved by the state offer services in Durham Public Schools.
