Title I Home
Title I is a Federal Program that is part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (reauthorized as the No Child Left Behind Act in 2001). It is the largest single federal funding source for education. Durham Public Schools currently has 23 schools that have Schoolwide Title I programs and two schools that have Targeted Assistance Programs.
