Long-Range Facilities Plan
Durham Public Schools has recently presented the final draft of the Long-Range Facilities Plan to the Board of Education. The plan has been reviewed by the Board and approved. The plan outlines over $550 million in school facility needs for the next decade.
Goals are to:
- provide adequate student capacity for future enrollment growth
- reduce the number of mobile classrooms
- improve all existing facilities to modern standards of function and condition
