7110 - ADOPTION OF BUDGET RESOLUTION
After the Board of County Commissioners has made its appropriations to the school system, or after the budget appeal procedures set out in G.S. 115C-431, the Board shall adopt a budget resolution making appropriations for the budget year in such sums as the Board deems sufficient and proper.
The budget resolution shall be adopted in accordance with the provisions of state law. The budget resolution shall conform to the uniform budget format established by the State Board of Education. The budget resolution shall be entered in the Board minutes, and within five (5) days after adoption, copies of the resolution shall be filed with the Superintendent, the school finance officer and the county finance officer.
