6450 -CONTRACT TRANSPORTATION
To meet its student transportation needs, the Board may enter into private contracts with any person, firm or corporation for the transportation of students for any purpose for which the school system is authorized to operate public school buses in accordance with state law. The vehicles and drivers used under a private contract shall comply with all applicable state and federal laws and school board policies and regulations.
