6110 -SALE OF PRODUCTS OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS
All services, properties and products generated through vocational education programs may be sold or disposed of through:
A. Advertisement for sealed bids pursuant to G. S. 160A-268;
B. Negotiated offer, advertisement, and upset bid pursuant to G.S. 160A-269;
C. Public auction pursuant to G.S.160A-270;
D. Exchange of property pursuant to G.S.160A-271;
E. Lease or rental pursuant to G.S.160A-272; or
F. Private negotiation and sale pursuant to G.S. 160A-269;
Legal Reference: G.S.160A-267. Any of the above methods of sale or disposition may be chosen, with the prior approval of the Superintendent or designee.
All checks or funds received from sales or dispositions under this policy must be made payable to and paid directly to the Board. All proceeds from the sale or disposition of services, properties or products of vocational education programs shall be applied solely to the vocational education fund.
