6075 - USE OF PROPOSALS TO AWARD SERVICE CONTRACTS
The Durham Public School System shall solicit proposals for service contracts when the contracts are expected to result in charges of greater than $90,000 in any fiscal year. Requests for proposals shall be publicized to provide an equal opportunity for all businesses. Examples of services to be proposed include property appraisal, architect, audit, construction consulting, engineering, insurance, and legal services. The Board of Education reserves the right to select a proposal other than the lowest if doing so is deemed to be in the best interest of the school system.
