1350 -ADVANCE DELIVERY OF MEETING MATERIALS
Before actions by the Board are requested or recommended, the Board shall be provided with adequate data and back-up information to assist the Board in reaching sound and objective decisions consistent with established goals.
At least three working days prior to each meeting of the Board, the Superintendent shall forward to each member a copy of the agenda of the ensuing meeting, background data, and any minutes of previous meetings that have not been approved.
Board members shall be expected to read the information provided them, and to contact the Superintendent or other appropriate staff members to request additional information that may be deemed necessary to assist them in their decision-making responsibilities.
