1210 -ELECTION OF OFFICERS

At its first meeting in July of each year, the Board shall elect by majority vote a chairperson to preside at meetings and a vice chairperson to preside at meetings in the absence of the chairperson. Voting shall be by signed written ballots. An officer may serve successive terms.

1210.1 The Superintendent shall preside at the organizational meeting until a new chairperson is elected.

1210.2 If the chairperson or vice chairperson resigns the office, the vacancy shall be filled at the next meeting by majority vote of the Board.
