1140 -BOARD MEMBER REIMBURSEMENT
The Durham Public Schools Board of Education shall establish annually a specific amount of money to be included in the school budget to cover Board member stipends and reimbursement of expenses incurred in the performance of duties.
Members of the Board of Education shall be paid:
1140.1 A regular monthly stipend;
1140.2 Travel expenses (not to exceed the amount predetermined by the Board) incurred for attending workshops or conferences or for conducting official Board business.
