About Research
The Research, Development and Accountability office handles all requests for research to be completed in any school or department in DPS. If you plan to conduct research or collect student data for analysis, please review the Research Proposal Format and approval flowchart, then send your complete documentation to either Jeanette Avery, Sr. Director of Research and Accountability, or to Heidi Coleman, Coordinator of Grants and Program Evaluation.
Please note that research is reviewed on a bi-monthly basis, so early application submission is recommended. Also note that all research must be concluded by the end of April during any given school year. No research should be planned between May 1 and June 30.
