Second Round of Budget Conversations with Commissioners, Tuesday
Durham, N.C. – Questions about multiple issues surrounding the budget filled the room at the Durham Board of County Commissioners’ (BOCC) first Conversations with Commissioners meeting, of 2010, on Tuesday, March 16.
The BOCC looks forward to additional questions and a great turnout at the upcoming Conversations with Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m., at the Holton Career and Resource Center, located at 401 N. Driver Avenue.
Conversations with Commissioners meetings provide a face-to-face setting for citizens and the BOCC to address areas of interest regarding the upcoming budget and its deficit. Conversations with Commissioners will include a brief introduction from the county and a primary focus on questions from citizens.
The BOCC will host their last Conversations with Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, March 30, at Jordan High School, located at 6806 Garrett Road.
The media is encouraged to attend all Conversations with Commissioners meetings.
