About the Board
The Board of Education consists of seven (7) elected members. The Board of Education elects a chairperson and vice-chairperson to serve one-year terms. The superintendent of schools acts as an ex officio member of the board and serves as secretary of the board.

In an effort to communicate more effectively and share timely information with our community, all Board of Education Committee Meeting materials will be posted online at least three days prior to the day of the meeting. Board of Education Meetings and Minutes
Regular monthly Board meetings are televised on DPS Cable Channel 4 and broadcast live through the DPS website.
- Board Meeting Broadcast
Regularly scheduled board meetings occur on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM. Firefox and Safari may have difficulties in using the Windows Media Player Plugin. IE and Google Chrome have both been tested and work. - Published Minutes
